Clinic and cultural exchange with Eintracht Frankfurt

Just like last year, we partnered with the prestigious Dallas Cup and the youth development team from German Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt for a clinic / cultural exchange for John Quincy Adams Elementary in Pleasant Grove.

Hard to express what it means to this school in an underserved area of Dallas. To show the kids a bigger world (And that people in that big ol' world care about them!) means everything. And the Eintracht players - they really are awesome - see a different side of the United States.

When we did this first in 2022, the vans rolled up with the Eintracht boys, all ages 14-15. The coaches pulled myself and a couple of the PGS&S partners and said, “If it is OK with you, the boys don’t want the coaches to run this; they want to run it.”

I thought: That’s freakin’ awesome! Talk about ownership and initiative. What a great group of young leaders they brought.

The coaches and admins love doing this event, want to keep doing it, and tell us their young men get a LOT out of it.
